How to Control Storage Settings for Notes and Transcripts?

Learn how to control how long your notes and transcripts are stored in Berries.

Updated today

By default, Berries automatically deletes both notes and transcripts after 30 days. You can now choose to keep your notes longer or only delete the audio transcripts while keeping your written notes.

Follow the steps below to adjust your settings.

1. Enter your Account Settings

Click your account icon to open the menu, then select Account settings.

2. Access Note Preferences

Click on Note preferences to open the preferences tab.

3. Adjust Your Storage Settings

Scroll to the bottom of the page and you’ll find two toggles under Record storage settings:

  • Delete notes after 30 days - Turn this off if you want to keep your notes indefinitely.

  • Delete transcripts after 30 days - Turn this on or off depending on whether you want your audio transcripts to be automatically deleted.

When either toggle is off, both notes and transcripts will be kept until you delete it manually.
