How to Edit Your Notes in Berries?

Easily Modify Your Notes in Berries.

Updated over 2 months ago

Berries captures both in-person and telehealth sessions with or without headphones, and generates a note to save you time, allowing you to focus on what truly matters. After capturing a session, follow these best practices to edit and perfect your note, ensuring it matches your preferences before uploading it to your EMR/EHR.

1. Manual Edit

Type directly in the text box to edit your notes manually. Don’t forget to save your changes when you're done.

2. Magic Edit

Magic Edit allows you to quickly edit each section with AI using specific instructions.

To activate Magic Edit for a section, click the Magic Edit icon at the bottom of the section.

Best Practices:

  • Keep your instructions clear and concise.

  • Provide one specific instruction at a time, such as “Focus on the recent breakup” or “Change patient name spelling from Jonatan to Jonathan”.

3. Quick Edit

Quick Edit lets you streamline your editing process in one click. Available options include:

  • Change pronouns (She/He/They).

  • Modify identifiers (Patient/Client/Name).

  • Remove all quotes.

  • Adjust text length.

4. Note Preferences

Click the Note Preferences icon to customize your settings easily, such as:

  • How patients/clients are referred to.

  • Including or excluding quotes.

  • Selecting your most used interventions.

  • Including or excluding the date and time when using the 'Copy note' feature.

5. Learn

Once your note is tailored to your style and formatting preferences, click 'Learn' to save this sample as a personalized format. When using this format, Berries will generate the note based on the provided sample.

6. Change Patient

To associate the note with a different patient, click the Pen icon next to the patient's name and select the correct patient from the list, or create a new patient by typing their name.

7. Change Format

To change the note format, click the current format in the top right corner of the note page, and select the correct format from the list.

8. Regenerate Note

Click the 'Regenerate Note' icon to regenerate the note based on the session transcript. Please note that this will overwrite your current note and any edits you've made.

9. Notes Sidebar

In the Notes Sidebar, you can easily:

  • Access your notes.

  • Manage their status (read/unread).

  • Sort by date.

  • Delete notes or restore them from trash.
