How to Use the Patient Letter Feature?

Learn how to generate patient letters in seconds using your session notes.

Writing patient letters can be time consuming, especially when they are based on session details you already documented. With the Patient Letter feature, Berries lets you generate, edit, and manage different types of patient letters directly from your session notes in just a few clicks.

Whether you need a summary email, patient instructions, a school letter, or another type of patient communication, you can now create it in seconds without starting from scratch.

Follow these steps to generate a patient letter from any session note:

1. Open any note

Select a note from the sidebar.

2. Go to the Patient Letter tab

Click Patient Letter to access the Patient Letter tab.

3. Select Your Template

3.1 Choose a predefined letter template

Choose a predefined letter template, either from your last used templates or from the full 'More letters' list.

3.2 Create a custom letter

Generate a custom letter by instructing the AI. Describe the recipient, the purpose, and any preferences for tone or content.

4. Review and edit

The letter is fully editable, so you can refine the content, tone, or details before using it. You can also open the actions menu to use Magic Edit to refine the letter, save it as a PDF, or delete the letter if needed. When you’re ready, use the Copy Letter button in the bottom right corner to quickly copy the final version and share it as needed.
