Berries allows you to share your custom templates with other clinicians using a secure link. This makes it easy to collaborate, standardize documentation across a group, or simply share a format you’ve created and love.
Below, you’ll learn how to share a template and how to redeem one you’ve received.
1. Share a Template with a Colleague
1.1. Access the Template Library
Open the Berries Template Library by clicking Templates in the Berries header.
Switch to the My Library tab to view your personal templates.
1.2. Locate the Template You Want to Share
Scroll through your templates and find the one you’d like to share.
Click the three dots next to the template name to open the menu, and click Share.
1.3. Generate and Copy the Share Link
A shareable link will be generated automatically. Click Copy Link, then send it to your colleague via email, message, or however you prefer.
Important: Shared templates are visible to anyone who has the link.
Before sharing, make sure your template does not contain any protected health information (PHI).
2. Redeem a Shared Template
If you’ve received a shared template link, follow the steps below to add it to your account.
2.1. Open the Shared Link
First, paste the link into your browser.
If you are already logged in to Berries, you will be taken directly to the Template Builder page for that template.
If you are not logged in, log in to your Berries account. After logging in, you will automatically be redirected to the template.
2.2. Review and Customize the Template
Once inside the Template Builder, you can:
Edit section titles or instructions.
Adjust style (Paragraph or Bullet points).
Modify length (Concise or Standard).
Add or remove sections as needed.
When you’re ready, click Save as New. The template will now appear in your template library, and you can select it when generating notes or treatment plans.
3. Things to Keep in Mind
Shared templates:
Are accessible to anyone who has the link.
Can be customized by the recipient before saving.
Do not automatically update if the original template is later edited.
To protect patient privacy, always ensure that no protected health information is included in any template you share.
