Once you review and finalize a note in Berries, completing it allows Berries to update important patient information behind the scenes, including the Medication List and patient context, so future notes can stay more accurate and personalized.
We recommend completing each note after you review it to help keep your documentation and patient records aligned.
1. What Happens When You Complete a Note?
When you mark a note as completed, Berries moves it from your review notes folder to the Completed notes folder. Berries will also enhance future notes by updating patient information behind the scenes, such as:
Updating the patient’s Medication List based on the session documentation.
Updating patient context to help future notes become more accurate and personalized.
Note: Context and Medication List updates only happen when completing one note at a time, after reviewing it. If you complete multiple notes together from the sidebar, the notes will move to the Completed notes folder, but these updates will not take place.
2. How to Mark a Note as Completed
You can mark a note as completed from a few places in Berries:
From the sidebar.
From the bottom of the note page.
From the bottom right corner of the note page.
Note: If you make any edits to a completed note, Berries will automatically move it back to review and mark it as uncompleted.
3. When Should I Mark a Note as Completed?
We recommend completing a note once you have reviewed it and finished making edits. This helps Berries:
Enhance future notes.
Keep your completed notes organized.
Update the patient’s Medication List.
Keep patient context aligned with the latest documentation.
Marking a note as completed is a simple way to keep your workflow organized and help Berries better support your documentation over time.
