Updated over 3 weeks ago

This article is for clinicians accessing Berries through the Chrome browser. We highly recommend using Chrome for the best overall experience with Berries, as it offers enhanced performance and compatibility.

Audio issues in Berries can often be traced back to microphone settings. To ensure Berries is using the correct microphone on your device, follow this step-by-step guide to configure your microphone settings.

1. Open Berries

In your web browser, go to Berries and sign in to your account.

2. Click on the Preferences Icon in the URL Bar

Click on the Preferences icon located to the left of the URL in the browser address bar.

3. Access Microphone Settings

Click on the Arrow icon (▶) next to 'Microphone' to open additional settings.

4. Click on Manage

In the Microphone settings dropdown, click on the Manage button at the bottom to access your device’s microphone settings.

5. Select the Correct Microphone

Click on the box where your currently selected microphone is displayed. From the dropdown list, choose your built-in microphone or the microphone you want to use with Berries.

6. Refresh the Page and Test the Microphone

Return to the Berries tab in your browser, refresh the page to apply the new microphone settings, and start a session to ensure the microphone is working properly and capturing audio.

Note: If the microphone is still not working and fails to capture audio, please repeat the steps above and try selecting a different microphone from the list.
